Creating art in the west texas desert
I'm Edgar Armendariz, creator, illustrator, and owner of FM170 Art. I live in the oil-filled part of West Texas. I have been blessed to have God show me what I should do in life. It took time and I stopped drawing for a while, but I came back as I was directed to. I am huge on drawing landscapes, as you can see in my desert and western illustrations. Besides that, I enjoy drawing Jesus, Western themes, flowers, animals, coffee and more.
If you started following me on social media before November 2024, you will notice a significant change in the type of drawings I create. Jesus began to appear on my social media accounts. I lived a retreat that changed my life and awakened me to include illustrations of Jesus and the Bible. By his love and watchful eyes, he allows me to keep and continue showing my appreciation by drawing him, which is a mega blessing.
